ABOUT
My name is Jacqueline Lim. I'm a recent graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I majored in Graphic Communication with a concentration in User Experience & Interface (formerly Web & Digital Media). In our current digital world, the world is at our fingertips yet sometimes we just can't navigate through it. Bringing all my experiences together, from designing and teaching children, I gathered a greater knowledge about designing with a great amount of empathy and learning how (little!!) humans think. Designing allows me to solve problems driven by empathy to help others and being creative through visual elements.
When I'm not in school or designing, you can find me at a baseball game (go Giants!) or a basketball game (go Warriors!) or working with children. I've spent almost 2 years with my students, so developing my relationships with my students has been one of my favorite things. I think in another life, I'd be a preschool teacher. If someone could find me a job where I can be a preschool teacher and a product designer, please let me know! Or maybe a teacher teaching young children about product design? :-)
